Tip of the WeekA plugin in MuseScore is a small add-on program that extends the capabilities of the program, usually by automating some task that might otherwise take many steps. MuseScore comes with a handful of plugins pre-installed, although you do need to enable them before you can use them. Other plugins can be installed from musescore.org. In TheoryI often make the point that dissonance in music is not a bad thing - most music that we enjoy uses it liberally. Tensions and release is the key to creating interest; music that is all consonance and no dissonance is like a story with no conflict of any kind - while there may be pleasant moments, it will seldom hold our attention for long. |
